PILC and SEITE 2026 combines a conference, a professional internship, panel discussions, hands-on trainings and international networking. Participants take part in the full programme — as attendees and as panel contributors.

Participation is possible both with and without submitting materials for publication. Two publication formats are offered.

Tier 1

Conference Proceedings — ESS Press

Accepted abstracts are published in the ESS Press conference proceedings free of charge (subject to editorial requirements): DOI assignment, technical preparation, editorial processing and international publishing standards.

Indexed Springer volume

Joint preparation of a selection of the best papers for submission to Springer. Manuscript preparation and submission are free of charge. This format does not guarantee automatic acceptance or Scopus indexing — the final decision rests with Springer. Checked via Crossref (iThenticate).

Submission requirements (ESS Press)

  • Publication language — English (title, abstract and keywords must be in English)
  • Abstract — 150–250 words, keywords — 4–6
  • Citation style — APA (7th edition)
  • Double-blind peer review — at least two independent reviewers
  • Conflict of interest statement and originality declaration required (no parallel submission elsewhere)
  • Open access publication (CC BY 4.0), authors retain copyright
  • No submission or publication fee
