PILC and SEITE 2026 combines a conference, a professional internship, panel discussions, hands-on trainings and international networking. Participants take part in the full programme — as attendees and as panel contributors.

Friday, 25 September — PILC day at PAR University (Rijeka): opening session, two One-on-One keynotes, the main conference panel and academic paper presentations. Saturday, 26 September — SEITE day with four thematic panels. Our participants take part on both days, and PILC and SEITE participants are welcome to join each other’s sessions.

Participation is possible both with and without submitting materials for publication. Two publication formats are offered.
Conference Proceedings — ESS Press
Accepted abstracts are published in the ESS Press conference proceedings free of charge (subject to editorial requirements): DOI assignment, technical preparation, editorial processing and international publishing standards.

Joint preparation of a selection of the best papers for submission to Springer. Manuscript preparation and submission are free of charge. This format does not guarantee automatic acceptance or Scopus indexing — the final decision rests with Springer. Checked via Crossref (iThenticate).
Submission requirements (ESS Press)
- Publication language — English (title, abstract and keywords must be in English)
- Abstract — 150–250 words, keywords — 4–6
- Citation style — APA (7th edition)
- Double-blind peer review — at least two independent reviewers
- Conflict of interest statement and originality declaration required (no parallel submission elsewhere)
- Open access publication (CC BY 4.0), authors retain copyright
- No submission or publication fee
